Learn how to make strawberry baked oatmeal with this delicious and easy recipe! A beautiful, vegan recipe for some wholesome breakfast oats!
Ingredients
1 banana
1/2 cup oats
1/2 tsp baking powder
1 tsp protein powder (I used salted caramel)
1 tbsp peanut butter (or any nut butter)
1/2 cup soy milk
1 tsp chia seeds
1 tbsp maple syrup
pinch of sea salt
small handful of chopped strawberries (or any fruit)
Method
Preheat oven to 180 degrees Celsius (350F).
Prepare an oven proof bowl by lightly spraying with vegetable oil.
Add all of the ingredients to a blender, except the fresh strawberries.
Pulse on and off for 30 seconds.
Pour out mixture into bowl, and then top with fresh strawberries.
Bake in the oven for 30 - 35 minutes or until cooked through the centre.
Serve immediately with coyo (coconut yoghurt) or if you have a sweet tooth, drizzle with extra maple syrup. Enjoy.
